1. Configure settings for your build

Deploy SAP Build App to SAP BTP

After creating an app in SAP Build Apps, and after viewing the preview on the web and on your mobile device, you can then prepare to deploy it to SAP Business Technology Platform.

Configure Build

Here, you can configure settings for your build. Generally, you can use the defaults and do not need to do this step at all.

Select the Publish button.
Select Build and Deploy.
Select Create Configuration.
Select SAP Build Work Zone as the target.

Note

: Even if the workbook you are following for this trial does not feature SAP Build Work Zone, you should still select this target as it generates an mtar file which we will deploy to the Cloud Foundry.

Enter build_config_ in the Name of Configuration field and then select Create.
You should now see your new configuration in the list of available configurations. Select the Options button and then select Build.
Enter a value, for example 1.0.0, in the Build Version Number field and then select Build .
You should now see an entry for your build process under Build History. The status will initially be shown as Created and will change to Building once the build process begins.
Once the build process is complete (this can take a few minutes), you will see the status change to Delivered.
Select on your delivered build to see the Build Details.
