Create a Dev Space for SAP Fiori Apps

Create an SAP Business Application Studio dev space, a preconfigured environment with the required tools and extensions tailored for a specific business scenario.

Each Dev. Space type contains tailored tools and pre-installed run-times for a target scenario such as SAP Fiori or Mobile Development.

Script Overview

In this workshop unit, you’ll be accessing the SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) to create an Dev. Space, which is a preconfigured environment with the required tools and extensions tailored for a specific business scenario.

Note

Make sure to follow the exercise documentation and use the provided naming conventions. Otherwise, you will encounter issues.

Prerequisites

  • You have access to your SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition
  • You have created an app in SAP Build Apps and a process in SAP Build Process Automation
  • You have access to SAP Business Application Studio
