SAP Integration Suite is an Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) that helps you quickly integrate on-premise and cloud-based processes, services, applications, events, and data.
In this exercise you will use the Cloud Integration capability to enable integration of SAP Build Process Automation with other systems.
If your Backend System does not offer an API that can be directly called by SAP Build Process Automation, you can use the SAP Integration Suite to achieve this. There are 250+ Connectors to easily integrate with SAP and Non-SAP Systems. This includes technical adapters ( e.g. RFC, SOAP, IDOC, XI, …) but also application specific adapters (SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, ServiceNow and many more).
The goal of this exercise is to showcase how such an integration can be easily implemented. You will convert the JSON payload provided by SAP Build Process Automation into a SOAP message and send it to a SOAP Webservice.
