Provisioning for SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to complete the provisioning, login, and initial credential setup required for a successful project.

Access to SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud

Following these steps will allow your environment to be provisioned on time:

Sample of customer provisioning email

Step 1 - Perform initial log in following the instructions provided in the provisioning e-mail within 30 days of receipt. Use Initial User to Maintain Basic Configuration.

Step 2 – Once you have logged in for the first time, create an administrator role before performing other tasks. Request System Subscription from the Service Control Center.

Step 3 - Discuss with your implementation partner or team the appropriate time to provision the follow-up system.

By default, you are entitled to one test tenant and one production tenant, unless otherwise stated in your contract. The test tenant is provisioned by SAP after the contract start date.

Tenant

The IT contact person specified in your contract will receive a provisioning e-mail from one of the following addresses: no.reply.provisioning@sap.com, sapcloudsupport@alerts.ondemand.com, or scc@sap.com. Please make sure to check your spam folder for these e-mails.

Contact IT No Longer Valid

Before starting the provisioning process, you need to consult the Onboarding Token in order to change the assigned IT contact. The Onboarding Token can be found on the sales order for your purchase.

Please note that a token becomes active and can be used as soon as the customer receives the sales order. It can be used only once and must be utilized within two months of its creation.

Conclusion

Following the steps indicated in this lesson will speed up the provisioning process.
