Creating a Local Project

Create a Local Project

To create a local project, start by selecting File→New→Project from the menu.

Next, enter a unique name for your project. By default, the project will be saved in the root directory of your workspace, but if you wish to choose a different location, you can click the Browse button and select another local folder.

Once you have specified the project name and location, click Finish to complete the creation of your local project.

The File menu’s New > Project option opens a dialog to create a new project named Motors with a specified project location and Finish button.

The first step in the data foundation and business layer creation process is to create a local project.
