In the Excel add-in, the planning assistant allows planners to describe actions in natural language. For example, a user types "Sum sales from January to March for Product A," and the assistant translates this request into the appropriate Excel command. For conditional formatting, a planner can say, "Highlight all unmet demand in red," and after a right-click, the assistant configures Excel accordingly.
