Objective
If you did not complete the previous Define the Analytic Model lesson, creating the Sales Analytic Model with its dimension associations, additional measures and filter variables, you can instead use a predefined Sales Analytic Model template.
The template helps you to preview the analytic model, or to proceed with the SAP Analytics Cloud Visualization lesson. For latter, the Sales Analytic Model serves as the source of the live connection between SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
In the previous units, predefined tables, dimension and fact views are stored in the SAP Datasphere space CENTRAL DATA in the folder WORKBOOK_OVERVIEW and shared to your user space . The shared objects have the name prefix ‘4OV_’
Since an Analytic Model can’t be shared to another SAP Datasphere space, a JSON file with the Sales Analytic Model specification is provided. This must be imported and deployed to your user space .
Download the 4OV_SALES_ANALYTIC_MODEL.JSON file and save it locally.
In the side navigation area, select Data Builder. Choose your space if necessary.
Select the Import icon and choose Import Objects from CSN/JSON File.

Select the 4OV_SALES_ANALYTIC_MODEL.JSON file, which you have downloaded before.
Select 4OV_Sales Analytic Model in the Select Objects to Import popup and press the Import CSN File button.

A message notification informs you on the progress and successful import. Afterwards 4OV_Sales Analytic Model is listed with status ‘Not Deployed’ in the object overview.
Select 4OV_Sales Analytic Model in the object list and press the Deploy icon.

A message appears about the progress and successful deployment.
[Optional] Open the 4OV_Sales Analytic Model to:
If opened, close the Analytic Model editor and return to the Data Builder entry point.

Congratulations! You have successfully imported the Sales Analytic Model template as an alternative to the model creation, described in the previous lesson.
