The Data Builder is used by data engineers to create their models in the data layer. In this unit we create a Graphical View for Accounts Receivable Open Items, using replicated and federated data from S/4HANA in SAP Datasphere.

The Business Builder is used by business oriented users to create their models in the business semantic layer. In this unit we create business entities - fact and dimension types - for Accounts Receivable Open Items. Based on these entities a consumption model including a data perspective are build, whose measures and dimension attributes can be visualized as BI Reports in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Finance Accounts Receivable Open Item Visualization with SAP Analytics Cloud

This workshop is designed to present an end-to-end finance cash flow management scenario and consists out of three academy units. Over the course of the workshop participants will learn: How to use replicated and federated data from S/4HANA in SAP Datasphere, create graphical views in the data layer (unit1), create business entities and consumption models in the business layer(unot2), and finally how to leverage these models for visualization, forecasting and planning in SAP Analytics Cloud(unit3).
