The Supply Chain Line of Business in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

This training course is structured around the SAP Best Practices solution processes for Supply Chain in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition are integral to the SAP Activate implementation methodology, offering ready-to-run business processes optimized for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

The figure below provides insights into SAP Best Practices and the business areas associated with the Supply Chain Line of Business.

This image illustrates the structure of SAP Best Practices, organized into Lines of Business, business areas, and solution processes, as outlined in the description below.

SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud are organized along lines of business (LOB) to represent the roles and responsibility areas within a company. Supply Chain is one of these lines of business.

To structure the processes within a LOB, the content is divided into different business areas. Each business area includes a selection of solution processes, representing preconfigured, ready-to-run business scenarios.

Solution processes are typically predefined business processes that represent an SAP Best Practice implementation choice for a customer. Each solution process includes a set of accelerators that provide detailed documentation used during the implementation project. Each solution process has a unique ID for easy identification. For example, BMC is the ID for Core Inventory Management, J45 is the ID for Procurement of Direct Material, and 2LN is the ID for Basic Available to Promise.
