Assign Qualification to Position

Business Scenario

In this activity, we will familiarize ourselves with assigning a qualification to an existing position. You will assign a qualification to the position you created in exercise complete the IDS20 Create Position first because we will be using an existing (or already created) position.

Before you begin, lets look at the definition of what a qualifications is through the lens of SAP S/4HANA Defense and Security. A qualification is a skill, knowledge, or ability which is of interest to an employer.

Likewise, a Qualification Block is defined as a bundle of multiple qualifications based on their assignment to other objects. A Qualification Block can be used to group together individual qualifications from different qualification groups (based on different scales), and assign them together to other objects for the mapping of qualifications or requirements. The assigned qualifications do not inherit the characteristics of a Qualification Block.
