SAP Business Suite is the one joint destination for our customers, but there are two distinct journeys to get there. While RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP may have originated as part of the purchasing process, the focus today is shifting, from what is bought to the transformation journey itself. What’s changing is not the core product, but the way SAP guides organizations through their transformation. RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP represent two distinct journeys toward adopting SAP Business Suite, tailored to meet organizations wherever they are in their transformation.

Journey 1: Existing SAP ERP Customers (RISE with SAP journey)

Many organizations are currently running on-premise ERP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or earlier versions. RISE with SAP enables the transformation success of our existing customers, helping them innovate and thrive at scale. It offers a structured path to modernize their business with SAP Business Suite, with multiple options available depending on the customer’s current landscape and specific requirements.

One path is to start fresh with SAP Business Suite Packages.

Another option is a hybrid approach that combines SAP Cloud ERP Private with an optional two-tier setup, where subsidiaries or other parts of the business use SAP Cloud ERP alongside other SAP Business Suite solutions.

Journey 2: New SAP ERP Customers (GROW with SAP journey)

GROW with SAP

The GROW with SAP journey is designed to bring SAP Business Suite to new customers. This journey simplifies the onboarding process by providing prepackaged and pre-integrated modules that cover all essential business capabilities. Moreover, GROW with SAP supports businesses in scaling efficiently and effectively, empowering them to use the full potential of SAP Business Suite from the outset.
