To safeguard player health, you must ensure that accurate and up-to-date health information, documents, and media assets are readily available. This data is essential for effective medical management, injury prevention, and informed decision-making.
In SAP Sports One, Health Attachments play a crucial role in maintaining a complete and accurate health record for every player. As you know, SAP Sports One provides comprehensive media management functionalities, allowing you to define dedicated attachment folders and build a centralized media repository for clubs, teams, and players.
Hint
However, in the medical and health context, stricter rules apply regarding data security and data privacy. For this reason, health attachments can only be accessed by users with the role of Physiotherapist. In addition, you need to initially enable the health attachments in your SAP Sports One system. For enabling health attachments, you need the role of Data Security Officer. Once the role is assigned to your user, you can navigate to Data Security → Security Settings to enable or disable the Health Attachments section on player profiles.

By storing medical documents and media elements directly within SAP Sports One, medical staff ensure all relevant player information is centralized and easily accessible. This eliminates fragmented data, supports a seamless workflow between doctors, physiotherapists, and performance analysts, and ensures compliance with privacy regulations.
To use the Health Attachments section, navigate to the player’s profile and select Health → Health Attachments. In this section, you can now upload attachments directly to the player’s medical profile. Please note that you can also utilize the media functionalities of SAP Sports One, as covered in the other learning course, such as tagging and organizing items.

In summary, health attachments are an essential component of player health management, allowing medical teams to document all relevant files directly on the player while controlling access based on user roles.
