What is the Concur Travel Legacy Experience?
The Concur Travel Legacy Experience refers to the original interface and booking workflow used by SAP Concur customers prior to the rollout of the new Concur Travel platform. It’s been in use for many years—well over a decade—and was the standard experience until the phased transition to the new system began in Q4 2023. While many organizations have already migrated, some users are still using the legacy experience depending on their travel management company (TMC) setup or configuration settings.

How Do I Know Which Version I'm Using?
To determine which version you're using, look closely at the Travel Search area on the Concur Travel home page after signing in.
- The Search Flights button is much larger/longer on the new Concur Travel home page.
- The legacy version uses the Enter Reservation button, while the new version replaces it with the Create button. The Create button only appears if the organization has enabled Concur TripLink.
- The Search by Price/Schedule option is not available in the new Concur Travel.
- In the new Concur Travel experience, the date selection for flights is consolidated into a single field labeled "Dates" with a calendar icon for easier selection of both departure and return dates. The legacy version uses separate fields for "Depart" and "Return" dates and times.
