Getting Started

This SAP HANA Cloud Basic Trial is an introductory tutorial and hands-on experience for users who want to gain knowledge on working with vectors in SAP HANA Cloud.

Logging into Database Explorer (DBX)

1. Open the SAP HANA Database Explorer URL

   Lobby

2. Select Sign into another account

3. Type as the IDP and then select Sign in with alternative identity provider.

4. Enter the following:

   User:

   Password: Provided by registration e-mail

Then press the Continue button.

5. Once logged into the SAP HANA Cloud Database Explorer, the application will prompt to enter credentials. For logging in to SAP HANA Cloud, use the same credentials as in the earlier step.

The SAP HANA Database Explorer is now ready:

6. Click on the SQL icon in the top left corner of Database Explorer to open a new SQL Console which can be used to paste in SQL queries for execution.

The environment is now set up and configured for the hands-on sections.
