Plant Maintenance (PM) integration with EHS Incident Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition establishes a bidirectional, closed-loop connection between safety events and asset maintenance activities. WWhen an incident, near miss, or unsafe condition is identified in SAP Environment, Health, and Safety Management. The system can trigger maintenance notifications and work orders directly in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP Enterprise Asset Management). Conversely, completed maintenance tasks are automatically reflected back in the EHS system to ensure data consistency.
Setting Up the Integration with Plant Maintenance
To access safety-relevant data from Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in the maintenance order and maintenance task list, activate the Integration with Environment, Health, and Safety in Asset Management.
You can only select the Enable EHS Integration checkbox for planning plants that are maintenance planning plants.
