Business Purpose
Spaces provide additional organizational levels to manage applications and resources within SAP BTP subaccounts. Spaces provide selective access to applications and enable team collaboration. Adding members to spaces helps with proper access control and role management.
Technical Explanation
When you enable the Cloud Foundry environment in your subaccount, the system automatically creates a Cloud Foundry organization. Spaces provide you a container within the organization where you can deploy applications and services. Within your space, you can develop, test, and run applications without interfering with other spaces created in the subaccount. For each space, you need to create members and assign them authorizations.
