Interim Number Range

Business Purpose

When you receive a sourcing project as a supplier, you can proceed with creating a quotation. When the quotation is initiated, it will be assigned an interim quotation number. This interim number is derived from the number range defined in SAP Ariba supplier quotation management.

Once you transfer the quotation to SAP S/4HANA, the interim number will be replaced by the SAP S/4HANA supplier quotation number.

Note

The interim number range will be only visible to the supplier during quotation initiation.
