Business Purpose
In complex sourcing projects, the buyer or supplier side may need to provide additional information for the quotation, for example, technical descriptions, technical drawings, or cost breakdowns. To enable this feature, you need to create document types that will be allowed as attachments in the process.
Technical Explanation
The Document Management System (DMS) is mainly responsible for storing and managing documents.
First, create following document types: SL1, SL9, QC1, QC2, QC3, and QC4. The document types should be set up as shown.

Once the definition of DMS document types is completed, you can maintain object link descriptions. Maintain the descriptions in all languages in which you will use direct materials sourcing.
DMS document types need to be linked to objects. Choose the document type and add the related object and screen number.
