Business Purpose
To ensure proper authorizations, you need to create business roles in SAP Ariba supplier quotation management and assign them to users. The following roles need to be created:
- Admin
- Supplier
- Supplier-Admin
The Admin role will be responsible for managing SAP Ariba supplier quotation management. The Supplier is standard role that should be assigned to suppliers. The Supplier-Admin role can be assigned to Admin users on the supplier side to manage accounts for this supplier.
Technical Explanation
In the Maintain Business Roles app, create a new role based on a template. When you choose a template, business catalogs are automatically assigned. You can add additional business catalogs if needed.
