Understanding Travelfusion in Concur Travel
Concur Travel integrates with Travelfusion to provide access to fares and carriers typically unavailable through the GDS or direct integrations. This expands booking options, saving costs and offering access to more destinations.
Travelfusion Configuration Steps
Enabling Travelfusion involves these steps within Concur Travel's configuration settings:
- Enable Travelfusion: Done in the Travel System Admin > Travel Configuration page
- Allow Access to Guaranteed Ticketing Carriers: Also done in the Travel Configuration page
- Manage Travelfusion Credentials (Optional): Added in Travel System Admin > Company-Specific Configuration
- Adding Travelfusion Suppliers: Done in the Company Administration > Travel Admin > Travelfusion Suppliers
This unit focuses on the Manage Travelfusion Credentials step.
Accessing Manage Travelfusion Credentials
To access Manage Travelfusion Credentials, select the link in the Company-Specific Configuration section of the left menu, and then select Edit Credentials.
Adding Travelfusion Credentials is only required when your company has a direct contractual agreement with a B2B supplier. These suppliers need specific credentials to authenticate bookings made through Concur Travel, and the Travelfusion API identifies the company or user for secure transactions. If a supplier name includes (B2B) in the Travelfusion Suppliers tab in Travel Admin (e.g., Azul (B2B) or SpiceJet (B2B), you must provide credentials. Without them, bookings with that supplier aren’t possible.
