Zalando Payments GmbH

Zalando Payments GmbH (ZPS) is the payment services provider for online retailer Zalando SE, processing payments for 250 M+ orders per year from 50 M+ active customers. ZPS uses SAP Business Technology Platform to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver services including payment allocation forecasts for open and unresolved payments from customers and bank. In 2023, ZPS moved its entire forecasting process in-house using SAP on-prem and BTP solutions. Zalando Payment processes all incoming payments from customers on the Zalando platform. Not all payments can always be assigned to customers or orders. This task was handed over to an external service provider. With the completed project, we developed a forecast for future unallocated payments in SAP.
