Importing Data from SAP S/4HANA Financial Data

You can import actuals data from SAP S/4HANA for financial measures. In the Manage Quantitative ESG Data app, you can improve data quality and data provenance by sourcing sustainability data from connected systems such as SAP S/4HANA Finance. To source data from connected systems, you can automatically upload records from the source systems, leveraging a prebuilt integration for SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance. By importing the data from the SAP S/4HANA Finance system, you can easily track the status and changes for all standard measures in a unified SAP Fiori experience.

Follow these steps to import data from SAP S/4HANA Finance:

1. Go to the SAP Fiori launchpad home page and navigate to the Data Management section.
2. Open the Manage Quantitative ESG Data app from your SAP Fiori launchpad.
3. Select the Amount measure, then select Import from SAP System and Import from SAP S/4HANA.
4. Navigate to the Import Configuration tab and fill in the following details:
   1. Chart of Accounts: Enter a value with up to four characters in uppercase. For example, YCOA.
   2. Leading Ledger: Enter a value with up to two characters in uppercase. For example, OL.
5. Save your changes.
6. Next, choose a starting date for your import and import your data.
7. After your data imports, choose Validate Data.
8. Once you've validated your data, you can publish it to make it available in other apps of SAP Sustainability Control Tower.
