Data analyzer is a predefined ready-to-run application for Live SAP BW queries, Live SAP HANA views, SAP Analytics Cloud models and SAP Datasphere models for ad-hoc analysis.
It enables you to save your drill-down data state and analysis as insight. All Live SAP BW queries, Live SAP HANA views and models can be accessed directly in the selection dialogs for data source and existing models and no additional model is created.
Data Analyzer User Interface
The data analyzer provides either a tabular or chart view of your data, a filter area, and a builder panel with drag-and-drop capabilities to add and remove dimensions and measures from the table. In addition, you have a menu bar with a Refresh option and an Edit Prompts dialog (if your data source is designed for setting prompts).
You can create calculated measures and apply conditional formatting to enhance your analysis. These calculations exist only in the insight and are not transferred to the data source.
After you have drilled down to the data details according to your needs and analyzed your data, you might want to save the insight. For this, select 
Save in the upper left corner of the data analyzer. In the Save Insight dialog, select the file location for your insight and enter a name and description for it.
AI-Assisted Features in SAP Analytics Cloud
Once enabled by your administrator, SAP Analytics Cloud, AI-assisted calculations can be used when working in data analyzer. You can utilize natural language queries to generate calculation formulas in the calculation dialog.
With the Generate functionality, your query is translated into a formula. The Explain functionality translates existing formulas into natural language explanations, helping users understand complex formulas by translating them into simpler language.
