Introducing How SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Integrates with Other SAP Ariba Solutions

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain how SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance integrates with other SAP Ariba solutions.

Integration with SAP Ariba Supplier Risk

The Risk information is displayed for a supplier.

In solutions that include SAP Ariba Supplier Risk, detailed risk information is included in the supplier 360° profile.

Integration with SAP Ariba Sourcing

The Invited Participants page is displayed.

In solutions that include SAP Ariba Sourcing, event templates can be configured to make sure that the suppliers invited to, or awarded, events are at some point in the registration or qualification process. Alternatively, they can be configured to ensure that preferred suppliers are automatically invited.

For further information about how to configure supplier eligibility criteria in SAP Ariba Sourcing event templates, consult the Event rules reference guide.

Note

If your organization uses process projects to qualify suppliers, please note: Both classic sourcing and guided sourcing can use process qualification statuses. However, to function correctly, you can only create one process type with the Qualification lifecycle type.

Integration with SAP Ariba Contracts

The Supplier option is highlighted on the Create Contract Workspace (Procurement) page.

For Contract Request (Procurement) and Contract Workspace (Procurement) projects, the Supplier field will only allow you to choose from suppliers that exist in the unified vendor model.

The Customer option is highlighted on the Ariba dashboard.

For Contract Request (Sales) and Contract Workspace (Sales) projects, you can create a new customer organization in the classic architecture by clicking Create → Customer on the dashboard.

Integration with the Guided Buying Capability

The preferred suppliers for Marketing research and deign in Germany are highlighted.

In solutions that include SAP Ariba Buying or SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, the guided buying capability displays preferred suppliers at the top of the guided buying search results.

Assign Fulfilment Relationships Through Integration with the Ariba Network

If the assigning fulfillment and sourcing relationships to suppliers feature is enabled in your site, users in your site can establish the following:

Fulfillment relationship with a supplier as they register for any event.
Sourcing relationship with a supplier as they register to the Ariba Network.
Fulfillment relationship with a supplier after a sourcing relationship has already been established.

Configuration options for this feature include the following:

Allow users to manually establish fulfillment relationships, using a link in the supplier 360° profile or through the mass registration invitation data import file.
(Optional) Automatically create fulfillment relationships with all suppliers.

It is recommended to use the assigning fulfillment and sourcing relationships to suppliers feature only when Ariba Network quote automation is in scope.
