The periodic review workflow prompts project owners to review live engagements on a predictable schedule. You configure the base dates, review period, and rules for generating review dates, as well as notification policies.
To configure workflow for periodic reviews of engagements, complete the following steps:
- Enable the parameter Enable engagement review workflow.
- Configure settings on the Engagements tab of the Configure periodic reviews page.
- (Optional) If needed, add an Additional Periodic Review Activities phase to the Supplier Risk Engagement Template.
- To enable periodic review dates to be generated for engagements completed before periodic reviews were set up, enable the parameter Enable background processing for periodic review. Do not complete this step unless you have already completed step 2.
- Generate periodic review dates for older engagements.
- (Optional) If you would like the post project approval phase to reopen when a user starts a review for an engagement, enable the parameter Reopen post project approval phase with engagement review.
