Integration with SAP BTP Document Management Service

Working with external files in SAP Cloud ALM.

Request SAP BTP Document Management Service or use your existing BTP service with additional repository.

  1. Integrate your SAP Cloud ALM with your SAP BTP DMS.
  2. Create an SAP BTP DMS repository.
  3. Upload external files to SAP Cloud ALM.

Upload External Documents into SAP Cloud ALM

  • Once a SAP BTP DMS is connected, you can upload documents to SAP Cloud ALM directly.
  • Each SAP Cloud ALM document can have one external file attached. This document can only be managed via SAP Cloud ALM.
  • All document attributes such as title, type, status, owner, tags, etc. can be maintained.
  • The external file name, size and type is shown.
