Describing SAP Fieldglass Supplier Features and Updates

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to describe new or updated features in SAP Fieldglass related to suppliers

Unified Qualification Library Enhancements

Overview & Use Case

Suppliers that service multiple Buyers within SAP Fieldglass previously struggled with duplicate Qualifications being associated to a Workforce record. The new Consolidate Qualifications functionality allows Suppliers to merge and align disparate Buyer qualification libraries into a single list.

When a Workforce record with SAP Fieldglass Unified Qualifications is added to a Job Seeker form page, the application leverages AI to intelligently compare the SAP Fieldglass Unified Qualifications with those specified by the Buyer.

This enhancement reduces administrative burden for buyers, ensuring consistent qualification mapping and ultimately accelerates Job Seeker submission processes.

UI Impact & Workflow Changes

When creating or editing an existing Workforce record, the Consolidate Qualifications button is now available for users to select. The bolded Qualification name will be adopted once the button is clicked. Assessment ratings provided during creation are retained and displayed post-consolidation.

Once the Workforce record is saved, Qualifications will be permanently consolidated.

An image of the Qualifications Library page is shown with the Consolidate Qualifications button highlighted. An additional overlayed image of the Consolidate Qualifications pop-up window is shown, highlighting the qualifications available for selection and consolidation.

Considerations

If a Supplier updates the assessed scale of a Qualification on a Job Posting, the system automatically updates the corresponding scale on the associated Workforce record, ensuring consistency and reducing manual effort.

When a Qualification on the Workforce record matches one on the Job Posting but uses a different scale or point system, the application normalizes the Workforce record's scale to align with the Job Posting.

Additionally, Buyer-specific Qualifications merged into SAP Fieldglass Unified Qualifications are normalized to a standard 1–5 scale for consistency.

Only Flexible Assessment Scales are compatible with SAP Fieldglass Unified Qualifications.
