Introducing SAP Business AI

Hi, and welcome everyone. I'm super thrilled that you are here and that you have chosen this learning journey to learn everything about SAP Business AI. My name is Philipp Herzig and I'm SAP's Chief AI Officer and it's my pleasure to introduce you to this course in the next two minutes. As we all know, artificial intelligence is one of the most transformative technologies of our times. And in addition to that, it's also one of the most fast-paced technology disruptions we've ever seen. Therefore, it's super critical that we continuously learn and adapt; learning the latest technologies, the latest trends, the latest risks and opportunities that this technology brings and changes our lives forever. In this learning journey, you will learn everything about SAP's approach to AI, which we have called SAP Business AI. And you're going to learn mostly three main things. First, how we are embedding and infusing AI all across SAP's business applications and the portfolio to support customers around the world along the entire value chain. These experiences are designed and delivered out of the box in an as-a-service fashion towards our customers. Second, you will learn everything about Joule. SAP's Generative AI copilot, which is not just a digital assistant, but with Joule, we are reimagining and rethinking the entire user experience as to how employees and workers around the world interact with SAP systems, business data, and business processes. And third, we're also going to talk a little bit about technology, because the SAP AI Foundation is the bedrock to deliver reliable and responsible AI, which is critical to our customers. And it's very important to also dive deeper into how we design it technically, to really ensure enterprise readiness and qualities that our customers come to expect. So buckle up. In this course, we have amazing information that will help you to explain and understand the SAP Business AI strategy with conviction. And again, I'm super thrilled to have you here and that you have chosen this learning journey, and we hope you enjoy it.
