Usage of the Text Determination Analysis

The origin of the texts of a sales document or the failed transfer of texts can be analyzed in the sales document.

The following figure illustrates the basic view of a text determination analysis.

Text Determination Log

If you want to use the text determination analysis in the sales document, choose Goto → Header (or Item) → Texts. Then choose the "Display log" button. From this analysis function, you can jump directly to Customizing for text control, provided that you have the relevant authorizations.

How to Use the Text Determination Analysis

The following system simulation shows the test of the Customizing from the previous system simulations. While a quotation is entered, a quotation header text is maintained. An order is then created with reference to the quotation and the quotation header text copied from the quotation to the order is displayed. In this context, you will learn how to use the Text determination analysis.
