SAP Solution Manager and Maintenance Planner

The Major Technical Steps
Request Stack XML File

A properly installed SAP Solution Manager system and the Maintenance Planner are required to generate the XML file.

Preparation for Maintenance Planner

In any scenario, the Maintenance Planner must be used.

Starting the Maintenance Planner

Select the SAP systems to be maintained:

  • It's possible to select one single SAP system.
  • A complete SAP system landscape can also be selected, for example, development (DEV), quality assurance (QAS), production (PRD).
  • If there are dependencies between different SAP systems, for example, SAP ECC and SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), these can be selected in one step.

  2. Verify the SAP systems.
  3. Optionally, define an SAP system track.
