Employees can view assignments and learning opportunities that match skills and attributes selected for their development goals, and link opportunities of interest to their development goals. This offers employees opportunities that align with their development goals within the organization, thus supporting skill-focused career development.
The feature is only available on an employee's own goal details page. If employees have selected skills or attributes for a development goal that match those required by assignments or learning, the assignments and learning are recommended in the Opportunities to Grow section on the goal details page. A Go to Opportunity Marketplace link is available for them to explore more opportunities in Opportunity Marketplace.
Employees can bookmark recommended assignments and learning opportunities. After bookmarking, they can go to Opportunity Marketplace to review these items and apply to them if they're interested in moving forward. If employees aren't interested in certain recommendations, they can mark them as not interested through the opportunity's action menu.
If other assignments or learning that apply to the goal are available but not being recommended, they can be linked to the goal using the +Link Assignments or +Manage Learning options on the Goal Details screen.

- Latest Goal Management is enabled.
- The competencies field is configured in the development goal plan template.
- Users have read or write permission to the competencies field.
- Assignments and learning opportunities are enabled in Opportunity Marketplace.
- The following role-based permissions:
- User→Opportunity Marketplace→Opportunity Marketplace Access
- User→Opportunity Marketplace→View Assignments
- User→Learning→Learning Access Permission
