Decisions Checklist

Based on the content in this section, please review the list of implementation decisions your company may need to make before implementation begins and discuss them with your stakeholders, project team, and SAP SuccessFactors implementation consultants. In this way, you will be better prepared to begin the implementation.

  • What employee events (transactions) do you commonly complete? How do you currently record these events (transactions)?
  • Is there a specific context for an event (transaction)? What event reasons fit the transactions (events) you have chosen?
  • What kinds of transactions would you like employees to be able to do as self-service?
  • Do you have existing HR data information you need to import? Is it contained in multiple systems?
  • What kinds of transactions would you like managers to be able to do as self-service?
  • What kinds of transactions would you like HR managers to be able to do as self-service? Are there country-specific requirements?
  • What are common workflows (HR business processes) in your organization?
  • What workflows (HR business processes) would your organization like to create?
  • Think about events and event reasons you know your organization uses. Which workflows do you want tied to specific events and event reasons?
