Overview of Benefits Reporting
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central offers a powerful reporting tool to help organizations track important analytics like employee movement, pay trends, and terminated employees. Reports are available in several popular formats like CSV, Excel, PDF, or PPT and can also be exported.
Pre-delivered standard reports for Global Benefits are available in Advanced Reporting. Advanced Reports are Story Reports, which are based on SAP Analytics Cloud. Once the reports are configured, they can be accessed through the Report Center.
Enabling Standard Reports
Before you can use the standard reports, the following should be completed:
- Initiate the SAP Cloud Identity Service Identity Authentication Service Integration. This can be done in Upgrade Center under Optional Upgrades.
- Ensure that third party cookies are allowed in your browser settings.
- Enable Story Reports. This can be done from the Upgrade Center under Recommended Upgrades.
- Grant permissions to create, manage and publish story reports. By default, all users with access to Report Center can view reports. However, administrators can be granted any of the following:
- Reports Permission→Create Story allows users to create, edit, delete, share, import, export, duplicate, and add labels to Story reports.
- Reports Permission→Schedule Reports: Allows users to schedule Story reports.
- Manage Dashboards/Reports→Story Adminallows users to manage all the Story reports. This enables the All Reports tab in Report Center and allows users to access the Content Store to import the standard benefits reports.
Global Benefits Standard Reports
The following standard reports are available in Global Benefits :
Benefits - Employee Claims
Benefits - Cost Analysis
Benefits - Enrollment
Benefits - Pension Fund Enrollment
Benefits - Insurance Enrollment
You can copy and adapt these reports according to the needs of your company. or export the data for use in other applications. If you have more benefits not covered by the reports offered, you can either modify existing reports or create your own.
Import and View the Benefits Enrollment Report
Steps
Open the Report Center and import the report.
From the Home menu, select Reporting.
Select Import.
Select Content Store.
In the Enter Story Name or Description field, type BEN.
Select SF_BEN_Benefits_Enrollment_v2.0.
Select Import.
Select OK, I Understand.
When the import process is complete, close the dialog box.
Refresh the window.
View the report.
Select the link to open SF_BEN_Benefits_Enrollment_v2.0.
Use either the dropdown menu or the page navigator to open Page 2: Benefit Enrollment Analysis.
The Benefit Enrollment report is displayed.
