Integrating SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding with an External ATS

If an SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite customer is using an external Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruiting system, it can be integrated with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding to initiate an onboarding process for new hires, rehires, and internal hires. Configuration requirements will pass the candidate data from the external ATS to Onboarding. Similar to an external HRIS integration, integrating an ATS requires middleware. There are essentially two steps required to integrate an external ATS with Onboarding:

1. Create an external user record using SAP SuccessFactors HCM OData API.
2. Map employee information with the external user record.
