The new hire's experience can be further simplified using SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone. This is called the Onboarding Guided Experience.
The Onboarding Guided Experience is broken down into the following phases and is configurable:
- Phase 1: Before Your First Day
- Phase 2: Your First Day
- Phase 3: Your First Three Months

Guided Experiences are built from different versions of templates provided by SuccessFactors. You can see the differences in the supported versions here: Onboarding and Crossboarding | SAP Help Portal.
The Onboarding Guided Experience provides the new hires a seamless experience with Learning, Goals, Mentoring, Qualtrics, and Vaccination features. In addition, the administrator has a simple interface to configure the most commonly used settings for phases and steps, due dates, and notifications.
There are also SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite and SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding home page cards that administrators can add to Work Zone workspaces to enhance the new hire experience. These home page cards include:

Alumni Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone
The alumni experience in SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone enables former employees to access personal information and complete relevant tasks in an alumni workspace in an alumni workspace.
Alumni users with post-employment access can view certain personal information and perform offboarding tasks using our UI integration cards and Home Page quick actions. There are limited cards and quick actions available but look for more to be added in future releases.
