Identifying the Benefits and Functionality of Candidate Relationship Management, Advanced Analytics and other Key Features

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to identify the benefits and functionality of Candidate Relationship Management, Advanced Analytics and other key features.

Candidate Relationship Management

Candidate Relationship Management is a feature set that includes data capture forms, talent pools, and email campaigns.

To take advantage of the Candidate Relationship Management functionality, customers must be running SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and have a career site created with Career Site Builder.

Select the Talent Pools tab in Candidate Relationship Management.

Candidate Relationship Management provides recruiters with greater versatility in managing candidate relationships. Rather than sourcing from scratch for each job, recruiters have the data to nurture passive candidates, which can reduce the cost per hire and time to fill.

All candidate data is housed in one place: the candidate profile. From the profile, recruiters can review the candidate’s qualifications, view their skills and work history, see which jobs they have applied to, send emails, review emails already delivered, add the candidate to a talent pool, send email campaigns, and more.

Talent pools are created to group candidates who may be suited to certain positions. Targeted campaign emails can be sent to an entire talent pool.

Targeted email campaigns can be sent to an entire talent pool, allowing recruiters to keep track of qualified candidates, often with the goal of engaging passive candidates.

Recruiting Advanced Analytics

Advanced Analytics combines recruiting data to create a full line-of-sight from a candidate’s first visit to their eventual hire.

Customers can view their recruiting data across sources, locations, dates, job categories, and more.

Under Recruiting, the Advanced Analytics tab is highlighted.

Customers use Advanced Analytics to answer questions such as the following:

  • How many visitors does it take to get a hire?

  • Are there sources that are not performing as well as we’d expect?

  • Which candidates began an application, but did not complete it? (Drop off)

  • What’s my time to fill open positions?

Talent Community

No more "Apply or Goodbye." While your customer’s ultimate goal is to get completed applications from qualified candidates, we know that only a small percentage of career site visitors apply to a job during their first visit. As many candidates simply browse jobs while at work, on their mobile devices, or throughout the day, SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting provides features that enable customers to stay in contact with passive candidates as well.

The career site provides a link to join the Talent Community. When the candidate completes the Create an Account page, a candidate profile is created for them.

Passive candidates are kept apprised of jobs matching their interests via an automatically assigned job alert email, and recruiters can engage passively interested candidates.

Job Alerts

Job alerts are added automatically, depending on where the candidate has navigated. For example, if a candidate is on the Engineering Jobs page, after they create an account (join the Talent Community), they will receive alerts related to that type of position.

Candidates can add or update job alerts from the Candidate Profile page under the Options menu.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Job seekers often begin their job search using a search engine. One goal of SAP's Recruiting solution is to enhance search engine optimization (SEO), so that our customers’ career sites appear in the search results. A core piece of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting is search engine optimization.

Some of the CSB Career Site SEO capabilities include:

  • Crawler friendly: Most applicant tracking systems (ATSs) have their career information trapped behind dropdown menus, and search engines can’t index the information, so the sites do not show up in search results. Career Site Builder produces search engine-friendly sites.

  • Daily sitemap updates: When nightly maintenance is run, sitemaps are updated with any changes to job collections.

  • Category pages: Building SEO value for a page takes time, and job postings aren’t typically available long enough to be highly ranked in search engine results. But category pages create lasting SEO value.

Job Distribution

Through job distribution services, your customers’ jobs are visible in the places where their ideal candidates are spending time.

While certain deliveries come as part of the platform, such as search engines, social media networks, and aggregators, there are additional options to explore with pick and post by using Recruiting Posting or automated XML feeds. These options enable customers to recruit more effectively by making candidate and job board interactions easier and ensuring accurate source tracking in Advanced Analytics.
