Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain brand configuration and management for customized career site design.

Uses for the Fields on a Job Requisition

Fields defined in the Job Requisition are used for many purposes:

  • Capturing important data about the position (job title, job description, business unit, division, department, hiring manager, etc.
  • Job information that needs approval (compensation data, etc.).
  • Information needed for job postings to the internal/external career sites and job boards (external job title, job description, job classification, location, etc.).
  • Fields used as search filters on the internal career site or to create microsites.
  • Information to support the customer’s business processes, including compliance reporting.
  • Information to support managing candidates, including screening, interviews, and the offer process.
  • Fields used by Career Site Builder for searching, job layouts, category page rules, etc.
  • Fields used for source reporting in Advanced Analytics.

Data Mapping

  • Data mapping is done in Admin CenterSetup Recruiting Marketing Job Field Mapping.
  • Please refer to the following tables in theSetting Up and Maintaining SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting guide in the Help Portal for specific data and mapping instructions:
    • Field Specifications – under the heading Data Recommendations for Recruiting Management
    • Technical specifications for Recruiting Marketing fields
    • Mapping fields for Real-Time Job Sync

Introduction to Brands

  • Configuring brands allows customers to have different designs and layouts on their career sites for their subsidiaries.
  • Each brand can have different colors, images, fonts, page content, headers, and footers.
This screenshot shows examples of brands in CSB.

Brand Management

  • You can also configure different headers and footers for any of the site brands and create localized headers and footers for any configured locales.
  • You can also configure different pages for different brands and locales. For example, you can configure different homepages for the different brands and the U.S. and Canadian site versions.
  • Brands are created from ToolsBrand Management in Career Site Builder.
  • These brands are stored in the MDF format and are available across all Recruiting and other SAP SuccessFactors components.
  • A field for the MDF brand can be added to the job requisition template so that jobs can be associated with the correct company brand.

Job Location Generic Object

  • When the Unified Data Model is enabled, customers can use the Job Location Generic Object to provide improved job location searching in career sites built with Career Site Builder.
  • The Job Location objects in Recruiting allow customers to define various location-based variables, including Metropolitan Area/Market, Location Search Synonyms, and more.
  • The Job Location Generic Object supports multi-location posting.
This screenshot is an example of a Job Location Generic Object with various variables.
