Starting in November 2025, certification exams are evolving to problem-solving challenges with AI-enabled tools to help ensure you are certified not just for what you know, but for what you can do.

System-based assessment

Learners engage in time-limited role-play with an AI avatar, pitching SAP solutions, advising on architecture, and performing simulations.

System-based assessments are available in English, with plans for availability in other languages in the future.

Certified professionals will still get awarded with a Credly badge showing type and level. The description highlights applied validation, boosting employer confidence.

No immediate re-certification needed. Continue regular renewal cycle, take standard 'stay-certified assessment' upon expiration until further notice.

The reimagined practical, performance-based exams are only required for first-time exam takers.
