Enable Cloud Integration Automation Service in SAP BTP Subaccount

The Cloud Integration Automation service should automatically be assigned to the global account if the subaccount is running in one of the supported data centers. The following steps are required to add the entitlement and subscribe the service on a subaccount: 

Steps

  1. Log in to your SAP BTP global account as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to EntitlementsEntity Assignments and select the preferred subaccount.

  3. Choose Configure EntitlementsAdd Service Plans, search for Cloud Integration Automation Service, and then add the standard (Application) plan to your subaccount.

  4. Navigate to SAP BTP subaccount ServicesService Marketplace.

  5. Search for Cloud Integration Automation Service, select it, and choose Create to subscribe to the service on the subaccount.

  6. Choose View Subscription / navigate to Instances and Subscriptions.

  7. Notice that the Cloud Integration Automation service is now part of the subscriptions and has the status Subscribed.

Access Cloud Integration Automation Service on SAP BTP Subaccount

Cloud Integration Automation service requires a specific set of role collections to be assigned to the users who need to access the services application, as outlined in the help documentation

This task requires the role collection CIASIntegrationAdministrator, which allows an admin user to create, plan, and execute integrations.
