Prerequisites

  • SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition entitlement is available in the SAP BTP global account to which your subaccount belongs to
  • SAP BTP platform admin user with admin access to the SAP BTP global and subaccount. This will be used to access the SAP BTP cockpit and perform configuration steps as outlined in the following section
  • Identity Authentication user that is set up in Identity Authentication and SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This will be used to access SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition and also to validate the setup in the next lesson
Note

The Identity Authentication user needs to be maintained with the exact same values for User ID and E-Mail address in Identity Authentication and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and needs to be assigned some business roles on the SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

The steps to enable SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition for SAP S/4HANA Cloud are similar to the steps performed for the on-premise systems. Complete the following steps from Unit 3, Lesson 4 of the course to do this:

  • Add Entitlement to SAP BTP Subaccount
  • Create SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition Subscription on SAP BTP Subaccount
  • Access SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition – this step has a slight variation for the setup with Identity Authentication as described in the following section

Access SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition with an Identity Authentication User

To access the Site Manager application that is provided by SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition, you will need to assign the Launchpad_Admin role collection to the Identity Authentication user.

Note
In contrary for the on-premise setup in the previous unit, where a user on the Default Identity Provider was used for a first test, an Identity Authentication user must be used to access the SAP S/4HANA Cloud content in the next lesson.

In this practice exercise, you will perform the following tasks:

  1. Assign launchpad admin role to Identity Authentication user
  2. Access Site Manager with Identity Authentication user
