After configuring a job and a pipeline for SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery, you want to ensure that the automated build and deployment of your project succeeds.
You can perform this exercise in two ways:
- Live Environment – using the instructions provided below, you can perform the tasks in the SAP BTP Free Tier account
- Platform Simulation – follow the step-by-step instructions within the simulation
Please ensure that you have set up an SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline.
Trigger the build manually in the SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery Cockpit.
Monitor the outcome.
After completing these steps, you will have monitored the outcome of your job in SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery.
On the Jobs tab in SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery, select your job and verify that a new tile appears in the Builds view. This tile should be marked as running.
Wait until the job has finished and verify that the build tile is marked as successful.NoteThis can take several minutes to complete.
