Logging on to your SAP HANA Cloud Trial Account

Business Case: You have created a free SAP Business Technology Platform trial account and want to log-on to the SAP BTP.

Your SAP Business Technology Platform Trial is ready, and you want to log-on to your new BTP trial account.

In the SAP Learning Card Create your SAP Business Technology Platform Trial Account you created an free SAP Business Technology Platform trial account. Now you will learn how you can log-on to this SAP HANA Trial account.

1. Navigate to the URL: https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com/trial
2. Enter your credentials and pres the Log On button.
   Hint

   Select the Remember me check-box to allow the SAP ID Service to set a cookie and will be logged on automatically for the next three months.
3. On first log-on the SAP Business Technology Platform Trial will show you important system messages in a little pop-up window. Read and acknowledge this system message.

The trial account has a standard lifespan of 30 days, but can be extended up to 365 days. After 365 days, your account is automatically deleted.

Caution

You will not be able to log-on and access your data after your trial account has been deleted. So make sure you don't store important data in your trial account.

After your trial account has been deleted, you can create a new fresh and empty trial account.

You have now logged on to your SAP Business Technology Platform trial account and can now start exploring all of it's features including SAP HANA Cloud trial.

This section explains how you can log-on to the SAP Business Technology Platform trial when your company already has an SAP Business Technology Platform enterprise license. A prerequisite is that you also have an account to access the enterprise SAP Business Technology platform.

In the SAP Learning Card Create your SAP Business Technology Platform Trial Account you created an free SAP Business Technology Platform trial account. You might have done this using a personal e-mail account. If so, use the in previously explained section Log-on to SAP Business Technology Platform Trial method.

If you used your business e-mail account, then use the method explained below.

Now you will learn how you can log-on to your SAP Business Technology Platform Trial account with your business e-mail account.

1. Navigate to the URL: https://account.hana.ondemand.com/cockpit
2. Enter your credentials and pres the Log On button.
   Hint

   Select the Remember me check-box to allow the SAP ID Service to set a cookie and will be logged on automatically for the next three months.
3. When Two-Factor Authentication is activated for your account, you will receive an additional time limited passcode that you need to enter before you can log-on to your enterprise SAP Business Technology Platform account.

Your have now logged on to your enterprise SAP Business Technology Platform landing page. Follow the following steps to access the free SAP Business Technology Platform trial account.

1. On your enterprise SAP Business Technology Platform landing locate the Trial Homebutton.
2. Select the Trial Home button to be redirected to your trial account.
