Reports and Dashboards

You have now learned all about the SAP Sales Cloud from Navigating the User Interface, how SAP Sales Cloud aligns to the greater CX Portfolio and the Sales Cycle, employing activity management, to planning and recording sales visits. Now we're going to look at Reports and Analytics.

The goals of Analytics and Reporting are:

  • To better understand your business
  • Make decisions based off of key metrics
  • Improve the business over time in a measurable way
  • To create reports using the data collected from your contracts to better understand them and make improvements.

Let's take a look at how to run and personalize a report.

Let's look at some key definitions when working with Reports.

Reports and Dashboards

Let's look at a sample dashboard. It contains up to 8 widgets.  Some widgets are dynamic, which means when you click on it, it will provide you additional information. This dashboard provides you with the latest sales information for each specific sales rep.

Stories are what you would traditionally consider reports.  Stories can be specifically configured for your business needs or you can use the 20 out of the box stories provided by the solution.

You can choose which data source you want to explore.  Once in the story, you'll see every aspect of that data source. For example, this story is related to <insert example>. Here you can view <insert list of what learner will see>

You can add filters to the story in order to drill down to the information you need. You can also change the view and save this story as a PDF document.

Now we'll look at how to create Key Performance Indicators.
