At the start of any new SOW being created in SAP Fieldglass, there are three main elements that a Buyer must choose in order to determine some of the specifics of the agreement:
- the SOW Classification,
- the Supplier they wish to engage, and
- the SOW Template that drives defaulted data elements and hard-coded rules.
Classifications are used to organize SOW Templates and the Suppliers that provide services. They allow organizations to align Suppliers to specific SOW Templates, so that when an SOW is created for, say, an IT project like the one WorkingNet is undertaking, SAP Fieldglass only lists Suppliers who provide IT services.
There are multiple steps to the Statement of Work creation process. The first step is the Setup.
