Material

In SAP S/4HANA you can work with a different user interface, which is called Product Master.

Note

Please keep in mind: The Product Master uses the same database tables as a material. So you could start the creation of a material, continue with the product master, and then jump back into the material views.

When you create a product master from scratch, you have to define the first header data, such as product key or description.

Unlike material master, all data is on one page. Some data, like plant data, is available on the details screen.

Inside Product Master, an attachment management service is available. With this service, a document upload or connection of existing document info records is possible.
