Compliance Request from Logistics (F3341)

With this app, you can get an overview of the requests from your logistics department to verify the countries in which each product may be sold and produced, and which compliance purposes apply to the product. If a product is labeled as "New Product", it also requires a new compliance view. The requests are sorted by due date so that you can prioritize your work.

Key Features

This app enables you to do the following:

  • Get an overview of the requests from your logistics department that you need to work on.

  • Check which requests have not been processed yet and which requests have been handed over for assessment.

  • Sort, filter, and search for these requests.

Process Compliance Request (F3342)

With this app, you can process compliance requests from your logistics department. A request may come from a sales document, a manual request created in the Compliance Information app, or the material master. In processing the request, you verify in which countries each product may be sold and produced based on the existing market assessment. You also verify requests for compliance purposes to be assigned to the product. If you receive a request for a new product, you can assign an unpackaged product as the compliance view of the material. After you have verified the information, you can hand the request over to your compliance colleagues for assessment or carry out the assessment yourself. You can also choose to reject the request.

There is also a possibility of automatic change processing where in the compliance assessments are recalculated based on various event triggers, especially if a new compliance requirement version is activated. The app supports asynchronous event processing for the activation of a new compliance requirement version, as well as synchronous processing for other events.

Key Features

This app enables you to do the following:

  • Verify the existing and requested countries in which the product may be sold or produced.

  • Add new countries and delete the countries you've added.

  • View the market assessment of the assigned countries to help with verification.

  • Verify the existing and requested compliance purposes that apply to the product.

  • Add new compliance purposes and delete the purposes you've added.

  • Assign an existing unpackaged product as the compliance view of a new product.

  • Create a new unpackaged product as the compliance view of a new product.

  • Save the request to hand it over to your compliance colleagues for assessment.

  • Choose to assess the request yourself immediately after saving it.

  • Reject the request.

Assess Marketability Requirements - For Products (F3219)

With this app, you can get an overview of marketability requirements that you need to assess for products and raw materials with the logistics role Produced, Sold, or both. By default, the list of marketability assessments is filtered for those for which you are the processor, or for which no processor has been assigned yet. When you choose a marketability assessment in the list, you can evaluate it based on the assessment details provided in the Marketability Assessment app.

Key Features

This app enables you to do the following:

  • Get an overview of all compliance requirements that you need to assess for products.

  • Filter and search for compliance requirements assigned to products.

  • Create your own filter variants to prioritize your work.

  • Assign, change, or remove the processor of a compliance requirement.

  • Release compliance requirements.

Assess Products for Markets (F2612)

With this app, you can monitor and validate market release requests for the unpackaged products for which you are responsible for editing the country-specific market coverage. Market release requests come from the sales, product management, or production planning department of your company. Combined with the assigned applications, the market release request determines which assigned compliance requirements are relevant for the assessment. The assessment result is generally valid for the unpackaged product and its packaged products. You can also enter and edit an individual assessment for a specific packaged product.

Key Features

This app enables you to do the following:

  • Monitor and validate your pending market release requests, which are sorted in order of priority.

  • Search, sort, and filter the list of unpackaged products.

  • Edit the generally valid markets of unpackaged products (produce in and sell in).

  • Enter an individual market assessment for a specific packaged product.

  • Assign additional countries to an unpackaged product, and delete these assignments.

Manage Basic Compliance Data - Unpackaged Products (F2641)

With this app, you can create new products. Before you create a product,to avoid duplication, you can search for existing objects by product name, material name, or material group.

Key Features

  • View a list of all unpackaged products with the main compliance information.

  • Search for unpackaged products.

  • Filter these products by material group, composition status, and other criteria.

  • Create a compliance view for a new unpackaged product.

Manage Substances Compliance (F2578)

With this app, you can process and create requests for new substances with data from R&D in a way that is consistent with the corresponding listed substance in terms of identifiers, the substance condition, and the substance group configuration.

You can create new company substances that are added to your company's inventory. The company substance can be used in the analytical compositions that make up products and raw materials and in the polymer composition.

For your substance, you can enter names in different languages, and add groups.

You can view the existing polymer compositions and properties and create new ones.

Key Features

  • Check which company substances already exist in the substance inventory of your company.
  • Search and filter your existing substances.
  • Create new substances based on existing listed substances.
  • Create entirely new substances that are not based on existing listed substances.
  • Edit the conditions, groups, and company-specific names of existing substances.
  • If needed, change the listed substance linkage.
  • Note that changing the linkage triggers recalculations of affected compliance assessments.
  • Create and view polymer compositions of a substance.
  • Create and view physical-chemical properties, safety-related properties, toxicological information, and ecological information of a substance.

Manage Polymer Composition (F5709)

With this app, you can create, change, and display the polymer composition for the substance that you have selected in the Manage Substances Compliance app.

You can add or delete substances and specify, for each substance, the role that it has in the composition, for example a monomer, starter, and other reactant.

You can release the composition so that it can be used in follow-on processes. If you want to change a released composition, you can create a new version of the composition and add your changes in this version.

Key Features

  • Create, change, and display the polymer composition for the product that you have selected in the Manage Substances Compliance app.

    • Add or remove components.

    • For each component, specify its role in the composition.

    • Enter values and ranges, for which up to 6 decimal places are retained to provide the best possible accuracy. Operators are added automatically.

  • Delete a composition as long as it is still in progress.

  • Release the composition to be used in follow-on processes.

  • View administrative data for the composition.

  • View the change history of the composition.

Assess Marketability Requirements - For Substances (F3220)

With this app, you can get an overview of marketability requirements that you need to assess for substances. By default, the list of marketability assessments is filtered for assessments whose marketability status is Unknown and for which you’re the processor or no processor has been assigned yet. For each marketability requirement, the substance name, CAS number, and processor are displayed. When you choose a marketability assessment in the list, you can assess it based on the assessment details provided in the Marketability Assessment – Substance app.

Key Features

You can use this app to:

  • Get an overview of marketability requirements that you need to assess for substances.
  • Search and filter for marketability requirements assigned to substances.
  • Create your own filter variants to prioritize your work.
  • Assign, change, or remove the processor of a marketability assessment. •Export the values displayed in the overview to a spreadsheet.

Process Product Compliance Events (F4005)

With this app, you can display an overview of user actions that affect compliance objects. The system captures and processes this data to ensure that all compliance data is kept current. Depending on the event, the system determines the affected objects and carries out follow-on actions. For each object that needs to be processed, a separate task is triggered. For example, if a user adds a compliance requirement to an active compliance purpose, the system creates the relevant compliance assessments, propagates the assessments to subordinate products and raw materials according to the compliance pattern, carries out a compliance check of the affected products and raw materials, and releases the new assessments automatically where possible.

Key Features

You can use this app to:

  • Find out if an event cannot be carried out immediately and therefore takes place in the background.
  • Find out if an event was finished successfully or could not be processed.
  • Search for events and filter events by event type.
  • Check the progress of the tasks that make up the overall process.
  • View the initiating object and user, as well as the time that the event was initiated.
  • View the affected object and last-changed timestamp of each task.
  • Search for tasks within the object page of an event.
  • Restart the processing of events when the original process has finished with errors.
  • View a log of failed and successful tasks for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Reprocess failed events after solving the root cause of the processing failure.
  • Export the values displayed on each overview page tab to a spreadsheet.
