Manage Purchase Requisitions – Professional (F2229)

With this app, you can create, view and maintain purchase requisitions. The app ensures the availability of requested items on time, at the required location, and in the required quantity.

Key Features

With this app you can do the following:

  • Create a purchase requisition by selecting a from the drop-down, view the same, edit or delete a purchase requisition based on its status at the header and item level.
    Note
    If the purchase requisition was created via the app Create Purchase Requisition, you can only edit existing items.
  • Create purchase requisitions with the document type for creation of outline agreements as follow-on documents.
    Note
    The delivery date is not considered for such purchase requisitions.
  • Add material, service and limits items to a purchase requisition. You can define an expected value and an overall limit for unplanned services and material that cannot be specified in detail at the time of ordering. The services and materials may be specified later in the service entry sheet and goods receipt creation when their price and quantity are recorded.
  • Add items from catalog using cross-catalog search or by navigating to an external catalog.
  • Copy an existing purchase requisition and create a new purchase requisition.
  • Add items to a purchase requisition by copying one or more existing items.
    Note

    While copying the items, the attachments are not copied.

  • Maintain Delivery Address of a purchase requisition item based on the Plant, Storage Location or User Entry

Manage Purchase Requisitions (F1048)

With this app, you can display or edit purchase requisitions.

In addition, you can use this app to assign sources of supply to the purchase requisition items and to create follow-on documents.

You can only access purchase requisitions if you have authorizations for the respective purchasing group, purchasing organization, and plant.

Key Features

  • Search for purchase requisitions based on different criteria, such as purchase requisition number, plant, purchasing group, purchasing organization, material group, and processing status.

  • Display the processing status of purchase requisition items.

  • Depending on the processing status of a purchase requisition item, you can create follow-on documents, such as contracts, RFQs, or purchase orders.

  • Preview the follow-on documents that you created. You can also specify the required details on the preview screen when creating the follow-on documents. Note the following:

    • After you save a contract, you can maintain additional details using the Manage Purchase Contracts app. You can also investigate errors in a contract draft by navigating to the Manage Purchase Contracts app directly.

    • You can publish the RFQs and send them directly to the suppliers. If you use the sourcing process that is integrated with SAP Ariba Sourcing, then you can send the RFQs directly to SAP Ariba Sourcing. Additionally, if you want to make any changes to the RFQs before publishing them, you can choose to process the RFQs and make the required changes in the Manage RFQs app.

    Whether you can create one or several contracts depends on the purchasing organization and purchasing group associated with the selected purchase requisition items.

  • Assign sources of supply, such as purchasing info records, contracts, scheduling agreements, or suppliers, to the purchase requisition items

Post Goods Receipt for Purchasing Document (F0843)

With this app, you can post the receipt of goods with reference to the different types of purchasing documents, for example: Standard purchase order, Stock transfer order or Scheduling agreement.

This app supports you, for example, as a warehouse clerk or inventory manager in your daily work.

Key Features

  • Post the receipt of goods with reference to a purchasing document, for example, purchase order, which contains order items for stock material (procurement for stock).

  • Post the receipt of goods with reference to a purchasing document, for example, purchase order, which contains order items that display single or multiple account assignments (procurement for direct consumption). With multiple account assignments, you can distribute the purchasing cost among different cost centers or projects.

  • Post the receipt of goods with reference to vendor consignment stock.

  • Post goods receipt of goods with reference to a scheduling agreement.

  • Post the receipt of goods with reference to a purchasing document, for example, purchase order to the goods receipt (GR) blocked stock.

With this app, you can get an overview of your material stock.

You can review your stock by the plants and storage locations for which you are responsible.

The app can display the stock information as a table or a diagram. This app supports you, for example, as an inventory manager in your daily work.

Key Features

  • Display a stock overview of a single material.

  • Compare the stock information with the safety stock and minimum safety stock values defined for the material.

  • Detailed stock history for each plant or storage location for the last 11 periods (period-end closing) and the stock balance at the reporting date.

Create Process Order (COR1)

With this app, you can get an overview of unpackaged products in your responsible unit that have to be classified according to dangerous goods regulations. You can view the progress that shows how many regulations are assigned to the product and how many of these regulations are already released.

You can use this app to:

  • View all unpackaged products in your responsible unit that have to be classified.
  • View all unpackaged products with your involvement that have to be classified.
  • Get an overview of the number of assigned regulations and the progress of the classification.
  • View or edit the classification by selecting a product and navigating to the Classify Unpackaged Dangerous Good app.

My Packaged Dangerous Goods (F3711)

With this app, you can get an overview of packaged products in your responsible unit that have to be classified according to dangerous goods regulations. You can view the progress that shows how many regulations are assigned to the product and how many of these regulations are already released.

You can use this app to:

  • View all packaged products in your responsible unit that have to be classified.
  • View all packaged products with your involvement that have to be classified.
  • Get an overview of the number of assigned regulations and the progress of the classification.
  • View or edit the classification by selecting a product and navigating to the Classify Packaged Dangerous Good app.

Manage Sales Orders (F3893)

The Create Sales Orders app was enhanced on header and item level.

Key Features

  • You can check your sales order for missing data.
  • You can create, change, and delete item-specific business partners.
  • You can withdraw the approval request if your sales order is relevant for approvals and the approver hasn’t yet released or rejected the approval request or sent the sales order back for rework.
  • You can display a log of all the changes made before somebody last saved the sales order.
  • You can change item categories.
  • You can filter and sort the item table.
  • You can use enter instead of add row.

Process Requests from Logistics (F3342)

With this app you can process compliance requests from the logistics department.

A request may come from a sales document, a manual request created in the Compliance Information app, or the product master.

In processing the request, you verify in which countries and regions each product may be sold and produced based on the existing market assessment. You also verify requests for compliance purposes to be assigned to the product.

If you receive a request for a new product, you can assign an unpackaged product as the compliance view of the material. Once you have verified the information, you can hand the request over to your colleagues for assessment or carry out the assessment yourself.

You can also choose to reject the request.

Key Features

  • Verify existing and requested countries and regions in which the product may be sold or produced.

  • Add new countries and regions and delete the ones you've added.

  • View the market assessment of the assigned countries/regions to help with verification.

  • Verify the existing and requested compliance purposes that apply to the product.

  • Add new compliance purposes and delete the purposes you've added.

  • Assign an existing unpackaged product as the compliance view of a new product.

  • Create a new unpackaged or packaged product as the compliance view of a new product.

  • Save the request to hand it over to your compliance colleagues for assessment.

  • Choose to assess the request yourself immediately after saving it.

  • Define the compliance relevance of materials when it is undefined.

  • Reject the request.

Create Outbound Deliveries – From Sales Orders (F0869A)

With this app, you can create outbound delivery runs from a list of sales orders.

This app also allows you to display logs with information related to your sales orders or deliveries. For example, if errors occur while you are creating deliveries, the system issues a message to the log. Similarly, the system issues a message to the log if you successfully create a delivery.

Key Features

  • Search for sales orders due for delivery using basic filter options. You can also search using additional filter options.
  • Sort your table entries by ascending or descending and then select the filter option you want to sort by.

  • Personalize your table columns.

  • If a product has been marked as relevant for compliance in the product master data, the system performs marketability, dangerous goods, and safety data sheet checks for the corresponding outbound delivery. The results are displayed in the corresponding columns.

  • Create outbound deliveries from sales orders with a limited number of items, or navigate to the Schedule Delivery Creation app to schedule the mass processing of sales orders.

  • Display a log that provides you with information about the delivery run that you have created.

  • Use theSave as Tile option to create a personalized tile on the launchpad. This tile will display a fixed snapshot of your current selection criteria. For example, if you filter by the date option Today, your personalized tile will only display the number of documents that are relevant for that specific day, as the current date selection is stored as a fixed date.

Manage Outbound Deliveries (F0867A)

With this app, you can see a list of all your outbound deliveries.

You can click on each delivery to see its details, such as its weight and volume. Depending on the current goods issue status, you can post a goods issue for a delivery. If you need to make corrections to a delivery, you can easily reverse the goods issue posting and edit the respective documents.

You can apply these actions to all selected deliveries at once. For deliveries that need to be picked, you can navigate to the PickOutbound Delivery app to perform this step.

This app is available for the role shipping specialist.

Key Features

  • Search for outbound deliveries using basic filter options. You can also search using additional filter options.
  • Sort your table entries by ascending or descending and then select the filter option you want to sort by.

  • Personalize your table columns.

  • Navigate to the Pick Outbound Delivery app to perform the picking step.

  • Post goods issue for one or multiple outbound deliveries.

  • Reverse goods issue postings for one or multiple deliveries.

  • Use theSave as Tile option to create a personalized tile on the launchpad. This tile will display a fixed snapshot of your current selection criteria. For example, if you filter by the date option Today, your personalized tile will only display the number of documents that are relevant for that specific day, as the current date selection is stored as a fixed date.

Pick Outbound Delivery (F0868)

With this app, you can enter the results of the picking process for a particular delivery.

The picking process involves taking goods from various storage bins and moving them to a staging area where they can be prepared for loading and shipping.

This app shows you how many items are in the delivery, the delivery’s overall details, such as the gross weight, picking status, and so on, and the details of individual delivery items. Once you have entered the picking quantity of an item and the system has set the picking status to Completely Processed, you can then post a goods issue.

With this app, you can also assign serial numbers to delivery items. Assigning serial numbers allows you to track and trace your goods more accurately.

Key Features

  • Enable picking for an outbound delivery item that does not have warehouse management assigned to it and does not contain items with batches.

  • Assign serial numbers to delivery items in an outbound delivery.

  • Manage deviations during or after picking.

  • Delete a delivery.

Monitor Substance Volumes (F4693)

With this app, you can monitor and analyze the volumes of substances that are imported or produced by a specific legal entity of your company, and then aggregated by calendar year.

You can quickly identify substances that approach or exceed the thresholds defined in the relevant compliance requirements.

You can also examine the details of the aggregated substance volumes to find out which business process scenario they belong to, in which month they were tracked, and which business process document they originate from.

  • Get an overview of the tracked substances and their aggregated volumes.

  • Check the substances that need your attention sorted at the top of a color-coded list.

  • Filter and sort the overview table for the aggregated substance volumes by various criteria and save your filter settings.

  • View the aggregated substance volumes by month and scenario.

  • View the material document items from which the substance volumes originate.

  • Navigate to the Material Documents Overview app to see the complete flow of the business process documents.

  • Update the aggregated volumes by initiating an on-demand calculation.
