Release, Deploy, and Run Your Process

Now you have finished modeling your process with various forms, so now it is time to run it. To run the process project you just built, you must first release the project and then deploy it.

Before you run the process, ensure that the process is saved and that there are no errors showing in the Design Console.

Release, deploy, run, and monitor your process

The first step is to "release" a project which creates a snapshot of its current status and assigns it a version number.

"Deploying" the process is done after it is released and makes it available for others to use it. You can only deploy a version of the process that has already been released.

"Running" the process will demonstrate that the workflow has been triggered and the approval process has started.

Monitor the new Process

Proactively follow the status of processes, identify issues, and take action quickly with the SAP Build Process Automation monitoring capabilities to ensure continuity of running operations.

You can view and filter running, erroneous as well as suspended processes.

Process monitoring options include information observation, the context of the process data flowing across different activities, check, the execution log to trace basic runtime information.

You can manage tasks for processes from the MyInbox application, which shows all your pending actions.
