Organizational change management and project management are two sides of the same coin. While project management focuses on the hard facts of a project, change management targets so-called "soft facts" and takes care of people-related issues. Just knowing relevant change management tools doesn’t make you a professional change manager. You must still learn how to apply the tools in a project context.
Case Study: BriscoBikes
That’s why this learning journey is based on a case study. The case study shows you an SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation at a holding company called BriscoBikes Holding (BBH). BBH consists of three companies, each operating in different countries or regions: BriscoBikes, THE URBAN CYCLIST, and veloREBELZ!. The project follows the SAP Activate Methodology and its phases.
Realistic Scenario
The learning journey covers an entire implementation cycle. The cycle starts at the preparation of the project, and the organizational change management setup, and ends at the first successful go-live. Thus, you gain insights into the typical dynamics of SAP Cloud implementations and, to achieve added project value, learn how to plan and conduct change management activities.
As in a real project, you will get to know the companies and the key stakeholders step by step. And as the SAP implementation evolves, you will receive more and more information about the project, the companies, and upcoming challenges. And you will experience how Sandra, the SAP change management expert, and Paul, the internal change manager, handle these challenges and set up a professional change management practice.
Fictitious Companies and Characters
Of course, the companies, events, and other pieces of data used in this case study are fictitious. Any similarities are purely coincidental. The same is true for all the characters appearing in the case study. The characters in the videos are AI generated. Resemblances to real existing names or persons, living or dead, are coincidental.
Learning with Variety
The learning journey content is presented in different ways. You must read information, watch videos, study charts, and check e-mails. In addition, you're asked to conduct typical change manager tasks and to complete exercises in a workbook. This helps you reflect on your learning and teach you how to properly apply change management tools in the cloud context. At the end of each unit, short quizzes help you track your learning progress.
