The SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network allows buyers to route transaction documents from SAP Business Network or SAP Ariba applications to a specific SAP ERP system using xPath of any node of the transactional document.
The user can choose between one of these two options:
- SAP Ariba suggested xPath
- User-created custom xPath for the documents
SAP Ariba suggests that xPaths are limited based on the most commonly used nodes but when it comes to the custom xPaths, the user can choose from the entire WSDL/Schema of the transaction document.
For example, for the PurchaseOrderExportRequest document type, SAP Ariba suggests Company Code and Purchase Group as default option.
Alternately, the user can select New XPath and the options for the PurchaseOrderExportRequest document type is displayed and available for selection.
